USDO and Zoning 101 (6:30-7:30)

Brad Glass - Director, City of Albany Department of Planning and Development.  Purpose of presentation is to enlighten residents about zoning and help developers understand the permitted uses of buildings within the zoning district.

  • What is USDO?  What are variances?  Is there an increase in the number of variance requests?  What does the zoning map look like for the South End?  What application are currently in the Planning Board pipeline within the South End?  What is the city's vision for zoning categories in the South End?

Andrea Nicolay - Executive Director of Albany Public Library.  Presentation to include Library's Annual Community Report, Trustee Nomination, and the Library's Budget vote on May 21st.
