Jahkeen Hoke Chief Executive Officer of the Business for Good Foundation will provide an update on Lombardo's and the Madison Avenue investments

South End Strategic Plan 

Luis Roldan Senior Planner, City of Albany Department of Planning and Development will present an overview of the South End Strategic Plan background and timeline. What has been done?  What's Next?

  • Historic Albany Foundation Tool Lending Library looking for volunteers email or call Kim (518-465-0876 ext.110) 
  • Surveys that the City of Albany is conducting (with United TenantsA) in an effort to gain perspectives on landlord/tenant relationships and housing issues. 

  • Radix Ecological Sustainability Center offers soil testing for Lead. You can make arrangements at 518-650-3256 or info@radix center.
  • Summer Meals for young people start at Hoffman Park on July 11 and run M-Thurs. Breakfast at 9 and lunch at 12:30.   • Nature Bus is back! Hop on the free bus #872 on Saturdays to visit beautiful parks and outdoor destinations, like the Pine Bush, Five Rivers, and Thacher Park.   • The Department of Recreation's Summer Program registration is open for basketball, lacrosse, dance, skate board, football, baseball camps and more on Albanyny.gov/albanyrec  - https://www.albanyny.gov/873/REC-Programs  Many programs right at our Hoffman Park Community Center. 518-434-5699
  • Electronics and TVs can NOT be left curbside. Bring them to the Dept of General Services at 1 Conners Blvd., Albany 12204  Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm. Need ID.
