Capital District Regional Planning Commission will be offering discounted rain barrels to local neighborhood associations. The Albany County Soil and Water Conservation District is selling rain barrels at $80, and the Albany County Water Quality Coordinating Committee is subsidizing the cost to $40.

will discuss the proposed Paid Sick Days legislation now being considered by our County Legislature
Announcements
The budget vote this year will be accompanied by school board elections. There are three seats up for election this year. The May 15 ballot also will include a separate proposal to create a new Capital Reserve Fund that would be used for future facilities projects.
