Calling All Tutors!!
Help make the magic of reading happen. The Wizard’s Wardrobe is an after school, one-on-one tutoring program for children in the South End. We accept first and second graders into the program. Once in, we will keep them in the program through elementary school.
We are looking for tutors who can work with a student once or twice a week at the end of their school day on reading, writing and thinking skills. We will be holding our 2-day training on Saturday, Sept. 16 & 23 at our space at 20 Rensselaer Street. (An Albany Housing building - come in at the back of the building).
We will meet from 9 AM - 3:30 PM on both Saturdays. Snacks, beverages and all other materials will be provided. Just bring a sandwich for lunch.
If you are interested, please contact Debbie Fagans at 776-0664 so we have enough materials on hand.
