Global Air Permit Renewal
Global’s Albany Terminal operates under a Title V air permit from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). Global has submitted a permit renewal modification application that includes some changes that have been influenced by previous community input. The changes include a proposed decrease of more than 75% in the amount of crude oil allowed to be shipped through the terminal. We are also installing enhanced controls to more effectively treat emissions as well as reducing truck idling.
Downtown Revitalization Initiative
Downtown Revitalization Initiative program, the city will be resubmitting the application for the South Pearl Street zone by Sept 29th.
