19 Sun Oil Road, LLC has applied for an air permit from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC)  to construct an asphalt plant in Rensselaer County. Since it is possible for odors to travel across the river and potentially impact our environmental justice communities in Albany, I encourage you to attend an upcoming public meeting to learn about this project. This will be the second meeting planned by the applicant as part of its mandatory outreach under our environmental justice policy, CP-29.
