RALLY/PRESS CONFERENCE
To STOP GUN VIOLENCE
And SAVE Albany SNUG
Albany residents call on state leaders to restore funding to Albany SNUG.
SNUG is saving lives. In 2011 gun incidents have dropped 21% and the
number of shooting victims has dropped 29%. SNUG/CeaseFire’s public
health model is working and has brought hope to Albany residents,
especially in neighborhoods that are the epicenters of violence. SNUG saves
taxpayers’ money that would otherwise be spent on medical costs, public
safety, court costs, incarceration, and lost productivity.
138 Eagle Street--Near the Governor’s Mansion
Tuesday October 11, 2011 -- 11:30 a.m.
(please arrive by 11:15 a.m.)
REMEMBER: It’s up to You. You can make a difference just
by showing up! And help us to spread the word by telling
your family, friends, and neighbors.
