Announcements
The Howe Library and SENA will host a CPR and First Aid Class. The training is made possible through Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Albany County Department of Health. The American Red Cross will provide the trainers for the class.
The class is open to adults, and youth ages 11 and up. There is no cost to participants for the training.
If you are interested in taking the class please contact the South End Neighborhood Association to register. There is a limit of 25 people per class.
The class will be held at the John A. Howe Library at 105 Schuyler Street, in the large meeting room.
The class is five hours in length. SENA will provide light refreshments
First Aid and CPR Class - Saturday November 3rd 10:30AM - 4:00PM Cornell Cooperative Extension is partnering with the South End Neighborhood Association and the John A. Howe Branch of the Albany Public Library to offer this First Aid and CPR class to adults and youth age 11 and older. American Red Cross instructors will facilitate the training, and all who complete it will be certified for two years. The Albany County Department of Health covers the $100 per person training fee, making this class free to all who attend.
