• 2020 Census Have you been counted?  Talk to your neighbor and folks in your community and encourage them to complete the census if they have not done so.  
• What can we do to combat the violence that is occurring around the city of Albany?
• In need of training?  Free EPA training offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension
• Are you looking for a job?  Albany Department of General Services is HIRING, interested applicants should apply online at:

• Have you heard of the Green Tech/HVCC/YMCA Campus idea?  David Brown , CEO and President of the Capital District YMCA, will be presenting the Green Tech/HVCC/YMCA Campus idea.

7:00-7:30

• What is happening at the Library?  Scott Jarzombek ,Executive Director of Albany Public Library, will be speaking about the library's current status and the next steps

• What's new with the Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan?  Zach Powell, Senior Planner City of Albany Department of Planning and Development presenting on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan

The Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) will be offering two EPA Renovator trainings for both the months of August and September.  These are great opportunities for individuals in the construction field as well as home and property owners.  Additionally, these trainings will be broken up into two sessions combining web based distance instruction and small group work at their Voorheesville office.  If you know anyone that would be interested please have them sign-up as soon as possible.  These trainings often fill-up quickly.

“What can I do to help combat the Plague of Violence that is happening in our city?” If you believe in the power of prayer, join us.

Carolyn McLaughlin is inviting women of faith to meet her in Lincoln Park next Saturday, August 29th at 9:00 am, to tear down the Albany Jericho Wall with a 7 lap Praying March around Lincoln Park!!

You can walk one lap or any number of laps. We will be praying as we walk to tear down the wall of violence that is attempting to take over our city. If you just want to bring a chair and sit and pray while the rest of us walk, we need you too. When you don’t know what to do, PRAY!  Without ceasing.

We are looking for all women who are asking “What can I do?” If you believe in the power of prayer, join us. Not looking for quantity, but prayer warriors ready to pray for our city!

We will practice social distancing protocols including wearing masks.
